 Walter
Helm brings more than 25 years of industry
experience to the Sperry Van Ness team. He has
conducted more than 150 career transactions
valued in excess of $250 million.
A veteran of the industry, Helm has been
involved in a variety of transactions, including
apartments, mobile home parks, self storage
units, industrial, office and retail buildings,
and numerous sites for Rite Aid. Further, he has
provided appraisals for property tax deductions,
testified in hearings regarding property values,
and done multiple appraisals for the FDIC.
In addition, Helm has more than 25 years of
in-depth management experience. He has served as
asset and property manager for large apartment
complexes as well as miscellaneous commercial
projects. He has organized and been a general
partner in "blind pool" projects and has proven
to be a source of value enhancement for his
clients.
One of Helm's major strengths is his ability to
understand the goals of his clients, and guide
the client towards achieving those goals and
